    I was talking to a close friend of mine the other day who complained of losing yet another job to a piss test, a positive for marijuana.  The problem is my friend is an Oregon Medical Marijuana patient.  He uses marijuana to supplement the opium based pain killers prescribed by his doctor for an old but chronic neck injury.  He uses both the marijuana and the prescription meds legally. The piss test he failed was for a truck driving job, for D.O.T.

     What makes it ludicrous is that they never mentioned the opium based medication in his system. Why pray tell is it okey to drive an 18 wheeler on vicodin, oxy contin and etc but marijuana, the safest of all will keep you unemployed?

     I think this government will not be happy until all the marijuana users are either in prison or unemployed.  (That is why this government has to go.)

     Piss tests are about metabolites.  I think they ought to teach metabolites in history class...because that's what metabolites are...HISTORY.   Marijuana you smoked at some time in the past, but they can't tell if it was an hour ago or a week ago.

     And the other ludicrous part is they were telling my friend what a good job he was doing, without knowing what my friend was smoking or swallowing. They lauded his job performance.  But in America, the land of the pee it is not about job performance.  They don't care if you are doing a good job, they have this maniacal obsession with metabolites.  Truth is, if every

American that smoked a joint this week stayed at home next week, America would shut down.  Think about that.  What power we mj users could exert if we declared a one week pot smokers strike.  Prison guards would stay home. A lot of cops would stay home. TV and radio would be off the air.  Planes wouldn't fly. Printing presses would stop.  Newspapers would not be delivered.  Pro-basket ball would not be played.

     We have an enormous power, us cannabis users, political power if we vote in a block.  We have another enormous power too, us cannabis users, we buy things, lots of things..economic power.  But we have this power only if we realize it and use it.

    So come out of the closet, stand up and vote out the stupid bastards that have declared a war on us.  I hope you think like I do, tired of putting up with persecution for using an ancient medicine that Jesus used!!
