They are trying to kick me off of television...because I come here (channel 11 Friday nites at 8pm) every week and tell you the truth about marijuana, the truth about the Nazi BushCheney, the truth about the Pharma-murderers and the truth about Homeless folks. Oh...it's not just me they want to get rid of, they want to silence Dr. Phillip Leveque too, because he rolls in here every Friday and tells you that marijuana really IS medicine, always has been. They revoked his license to practice medicine because he won't shut up, ie won't stop telling the truth. And Paul Stanford is also threatened with a TV black out. He has been showing up on TV longer than anyone, & seems to be full of facts about hemp oil, hemp paper and hemp medicine. He also keeps trying to get marijuana legalized.
Who is it that is trying to pull the plug on cable TV? Well...it's the government. Senators Mccain and Ensign want to gut the funding that provides cable access. SB 1504 is called the Broadband Investment and consumer CHOICE act. It is a joke!! It is not about choice, it is about eliminating your choice.
It is a brilliant strategy really, cut the funding on the last bastion of say what you want, free access and free speech. Turn off the cable TV and you have hit the heart of hundreds of citizen activists. Really, just a few of us are in front of the camera, but there are hundreds of us in the control rooms and behind the cameras across the country. Locally Jim Lockhart's "A growing concern," and Courtney Scotts, "Mad as hell TV show," with Clyde Lewis are among the best truth tellers. By cutting funding they hope we will dry up and blow away!
If I set out to take away your constitutional rights to free speech and freedom from unreasonable search I'd first try and convince you it was necessary to protect you. I'd contrive a national emergency like for instance blowing up some buildings in New York and blaming it on "terrorists." Then I'd try to sell you on the idea that I'd need to suspend your rights so I could eaves drop at will, sneak and search and seize at will and I'd give my deviousness a patriotic sounding name such as well...the Patriot act.
The Patriot act has suspended the bill of rights, and when the Patriot act expires next month (October 2005) I'd contrive another mass murder of a few thousand citizens and of course, blame some "terrorists." Then it would be easy to convince you that the Patriot act must continue.
It is ludicrous beyond words that our soldiers are on foreign soil fighting for what BushCheney calls FREEDOM at the same time we citizens are losing our freedoms at home. And when these soldiers return as citizens, tell them they have helped to destroy their own freedom against unreasonable search.
In the final analysis, it's not me they are after, or Doc of Paul...it's YOU they are after. They don't want YOU to know the truth...about anything they do!! These new Nazi's have already taken away too many of our freedoms. DON'T let them get away with it any more!
And when another explosion kills a few thousand Americans to point out the need for continuing the Patriot act, DON'T BELIEVE IT WAS DONE BY FOREIGN TERRORISTS!
